Clapping Sticks Text

CLAPPING STICKS

Clapping Sticks were used to beat out a rhythmical accompaniment to songs and dances together with Boomerangs.  A single pair might be operated by one performer, or a group in unison, the Ngemba music sticks were prized by others because of the quality of hardwood found in North West New South Wales.
