All artifacts and paintings made by Wirrimbah Arts & Crafts Gallery are hand crafted and painted by descendants of the "Dubba-Ga" Tribe. Wayne "Turrong" Peckham, direct descendent of the "Dubba-Ga" Tribe, along with his wife Margaret and four daughters Tania, Karen, Natalie and Marnie, produce the artifacts for the Wirrimbah Arts & Crafts Gallery which the family own and run. "Turrong" meaning Tiger Snake, is the tribal name given to Wayne Peckham by his Aboriginal elders. This gives Wayne and his family the authority to produce Aboriginal Artifacts from the secrets obtained from his ancestors and to keep the aboriginal culture preserved.
