Foot Didgeridoo

waterdidge.gifDIDGERIDOO

Our famous Single and Double Foot Didgeridoos are made from the Eucalyptus tree, which is hollowed out by termites.  The Didgeridoo is then de-barked, cleaned, tuned, painted and a coloured resin beeswax mouth piece applied, which protects and preserves the mouth piece from decay and insect attack.  In keeping with tradition we use a special resin sap from the bush to protect, seal and tune the Didgeridoos.
The Didgeridoo is a musical instrument used for dancing, sacred ceremonies, initiations, and healing ceremonies.
Didgeridoos are hand painted and decorated in traditional x-ray art form of different animals from the tribal area.
We also use bindings from the bush along with sap resins, which are applied to the Didgeridoo as a decoration,
handgrip and tuning device.
